I just took a trip back home to visit my grandma who isn't doing so well anymore. I wanted to share this picture of her and I years ago so you can see what a beautiful lady she is and her heart is even more beautiful. We just learned that she has cancer on her brain, liver and lungs and isn't expected to be with us for very much longer.
This is the person who helped raise me to be the person I am today and she did a phenomenal job! I have never went through anything like this especially with someone so close to me. I am so grateful to have spent three days by her side celebrating her and remembering all the things she has taught me and all the love she has given to me and everyone she knows.

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. She sounds like a wonderful person and very much like my grandmother. We lost her on Christmas Eve a few years ago and although it's been hard to not be able to see her and talk to her and hold her, I know that she's in heaven watching over me and I take comfort in that. My prayers go out to you and your family.
